pairing: seungcheol x f!readergenre: smutword count: 1.6kwarnings: minors do not interact, kissing, a little bit of dirty talking, swearing, oral (male), masturbation (female), unprotected sex (please wrap it up kids), sort ot public sex, car sexa/n: not entirely sure how this one happened but here we are i guess. this was not how the story was supposed to go, i had different plans and maybe i'll write them later. if you filled the form to be tagged in my fics but was not tagged for this one, it means that you are either a minor or i didn't find your age anywhere in your blog.
this is part of my series, seventeen as songs from red (ts)
Seungcheol ➝ Red Faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly↳ the sight of seungcheol driving had always been your favorite but when both of you were trying to escape while being chased down by the police, you couldn't help but make things a little more… interesting
Tumblr media
“Baby, no, you can’t be serious” Seungcheol complained, his voice a weird mixture of moan and groan as he looked between the road and your hand that was dangerously close to the waist of his jeans.
He looked at you again, but your eyes were focused on the rear windscreen, a small smile playing on your lips as the cops struggled to follow along. Clearly, the police academy should provide driving lessons, because there was no way those men were actually that bad at driving.
“It’s going to be fun” you whispered against his skin.
You pressed your lips over his jawline, right where it connected with his ear, going down his neck, lightly biting into his skin. Your kisses trailed down his neck until his collarbone, where you pressed them over his sweet spot, sucking his skin hard enough to leave a mark.
You enjoyed knowing that his skin was marked by you.  It was only fair that he too carried marks after leaving a few of them himself all over your body. It had been hard to explain to your sister, ever so naive, how you had gotten those bruises. She saw you as sincere enough, pure enough, to believe that some of it had been due to your clumsy nature. Good thing she never saw the ones right above your panties and the two on your inner thighs.
“We're going to get caught”
Seungcheol had always been the first one to throw any sort of caution out the window and he was never one to tell you no. If you wanted something, it was yours. If he didn't have what you wanted, he was sure to get it for you. So when you undid the button of his jeans and slid your hand in, pushing his underwear and pants down just enough to set his semi-hard cock free, Seungcheol didn't complain.
His words of caution had been a lot more for you than for him. You had been his quiet and shy girl, who sometimes got scared when the cars were too loud. He wasn't certain when that new version of you had come out, but he knew he liked it a lot.
Truth be told, it wasn't really a new version of you, but a you that was only his to see and know about.
“Do you really want Kyle back there to see me choke on your dick?” you pressed your lips to the corner of his mouth “Imagine the view he's going to get… my ass in this tiny skirt in the air, you dick in my mouth, my eyes filled with tears because you're too big to fit into my mouth but I want to take you all way”
God, he loved it when your mouth got a little dirty.
Seungcheol grabbed your hair, pushing your head down into his cock. You smiled, finally happy that he had given it. You loved that he was willing to pull back but also loved that he didn't hesitate to say yes to you sucking him off.
You licked him, from the base to tip. Your hand pumped him once, twice, three times. A fourth one just for good measure, to be certain that he was almost fully hard before you took him into your mouth.
The moan that left Seungcheol's lips caused a wave of tingles to dance through your body, all the way to your core and you couldn’t help but moan too.
The sounds he made while you sucked him had always turned you on. So to have him driving — probably your favorite thing about him — and moaning for you, while his hand was tangled in your hair, forcing your head down until his dick touched the back of your throat turned you on in ways that you didn't think were possible.
You had never been one for public sex. Not just public, but anywhere near someone else, or where someone else could hear the faintest sound. But with Seungcheol all of your inhibitions had been left behind and he was all that you could see and feel and want.
He went from the hot driver who helped you escape an illegal race, to the hot driver/boyfriend you were sucking off while being chased down by the cops.
“Balls too” you managed to pull back long enough to say.
You pushed Seuncheol's jeans a little further down, glad he was willing to help by raising him hips just enough. Once all of him was out for you, you leaned over him again. Your hand was on his cock while your mouth was busy a little more down.
He let out a grunt when you grazed him with your teeth, moaning again when you took him again. His hand was back in your hair, maybe it had never even left, guiding you up and down, at the pace he liked the most. As if you didn't know it already, as if you hadn't memorized it.
“I love your mouth, so much,” he said, holding your head down “You take me so well, baby”
Tears started to form in the corner of your eyes, spit Dripping out and coating all of him. You snaked your free hand into your soaked panties, needing some sort of pressure too. You moaned when the tip of your middle finger grazed your clit, the tiniest bit of stimulation enough to make your head almost spin.
“Are you touching yourself, baby?” whichever incoherent sound left your mouth was enough of confirmation to Seungcheol “I bet you're pulsing around nothing, begging to be filled.  Ready for me”
You moaned again, rubbing your clit a little more desperately than before. If you were going to get Seungcheol to his release, it was only fair that you got some sort of your own too.
Seungcheol looked at the rearview mirror for a second, when he reached the exit he was looking for, opting to get away from the main road. Those cops weren't aware of the alternative road, so you were almost out of any danger — if such a thing had even existed, for a moment at least.
He pulled you up, his hand on your jaw. He loved to turn you into a mess, with tear-stained cheeks and spit all over you. Your hand never left your pussy when he pulled you to him. He kissed you for a second, doing his best to keep the car moving, still on the road.
“Come ride me” he whispered against your lips.
Your eyes gleamed and you moved, pulling your skirt up and shoving your panties to the side. Seungcheol pushed his seat back, as far as he could go, to make room for you.
The position was a little awkward but it didn't matter as you angled his tip with your entrance, slowly coming down on him.
A long moan left your lips, until he was all the way inside you. You loved the burning sensation he always gave you, almost as if he was too much, like he wasn't going to fit in you. But he always did.
“How are you even tighter?” he moaned, his mind going blank for a second at the overwhelming feeling of taking you in public, of you riding him, of how your pussy sucked him in in desperation, of taking you bare.
Slowly, like torture, to started to move up and down, as much as you could. You moved your hips up, until he almost completely out and then let yourself fall into him.
“Cheol” you begged, for what it was uncertain.
You wanted, needed, all of him, all over you.
“Take it, baby, it's yours”
Your moves became frantic, a mixture of bouncing on him, while grinding on him, searching for as much friction as you possibly could.
Seuncheol moved your hand from his neck to your pussy, pressing your own fingers to open yourself up even further, giving you more room for friction.
“Cheol…” you moaned again, your voice louder as you moved over him “You're so so deep like this”
He no longer could take it. He pulled the car to the side of the road. The police had long been left behind and he had gotten to the point of not caring anymore. You were over him, almost on breaking point. He cared about getting you off, about seeing your eyes roll as your orgasm took over.
“I got you, baby,” he said while kissing you “I've got you”
Seungcheol held your hips and started to pound into you at a relentless pace. He wanted to chase his high while giving you yours.
You moaned into his shoulder when he pressed a hand to your groin at the same time you started to rub your clit again, matching his pace.
“Cum with me, baby”
His words sent your body into a frenzy, your orgasm taking over as your entire body shook. Seungcheol swallowed all of your incoherent moans and words, his high following yours. He only stopped moving when all that was left was the small spams on your legs.
You leaned your head back when Seunchheol tugged at your hair. He loved that expression on you, when you were completely fucked out and pleased. He liked knowing that he had made it happen.
“Hi” he whispered
You laughed a little, your eyes still closed.
“So sex while the cops chase us turns you on, huh?” he said kissing your neck, enjoying the small goosebumps erupting on your skin “Fully noted”

Some Bits About Xiangli Yao
Because I've seen a lot of people going "who?" lol and I enjoy the Huaxu affiliation characters.
This includes content from:
Act 1
Baizhi, Jinhsi, Mortefi, Taoqi's profiles
Huaxu Academy NPCs
Huaxu Academy documents
Court of Savantae
To begin, Xiangli Yao serves as the academic leader of Huaxu Academy. He is an expert in Automata Mechanics.
Tumblr media
Mortefi considers him his rival, he wants to outdo him. Those at the academy considers Mortefi #2 to Xiangli Yao. The two "met" years ago at a New Federation's (Mortefi's birth country) World Expo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Taoqi (top) and Baizhi (bottom) lines about him, supports his profile description: "He is a gentle yet rational soul."
Tumblr media
Yao is the person you hear Mortefi calling in the beginning of the story in the Academy, and we enter his room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
That unusual device is definitely for his arm. You can see similar structures in the abandoned Court of Savantae site at Whining Aix Mire. Maybe it means something since the researchers at CSC really needed Automata Mechanics at some point? I hope it does... (https://www.tumblr.com/calcahro/755456668925657088/xiangli-yao-court-of-savantae-goofy)
Tumblr media
He made Jinhsi's electronic To-do list
Tumblr media
The Sugar Pearl Vaccine was tested on him and his mother
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And that's all the bits for now, I think. I know some NPCs outside of the academy have mentioned him as well.

Beneath the Sands. Act I. When Midday Dust Settles
Narration Post I
(The Narrator will interject as needed to keep the flow. Please see the end for more details.)
Checking the signboards in Jinzhou had quickly become a habit of theirs. Someone always needed help, putting out commissions, and leading them to intriguing discovery. If the Black Shores were to be believed- if They were to be believed, then they needed to explore on their own as much as possible- to absorb everything the world had to offer.
They hummed softly to themselves as they approached another signboard in the middle of town. Their golden gaze scanned the various commissions, spotting one of interest.
Huaxu Academy?
Rover! Rover! That one's weird! Smells like a snack!
They blinked, hearing Abby's sudden interest as the little echo appeared, "The one from the Academy? Yeah- I was planning on checking it out-" Abby floated next to them as they read, sniffing the air.
Huaxu Academy is currently seeking swords for hire and those interested archeological research to accompany Head Researcher Jiahui to the Gilded Wastes. Recently, a Court of Savantae Ruin has been discovered and with the recent defeat of the Threnodian, there has been a lull in Tacet Discords in the Thorns.
Below was only one name signed, and it seemed to be the main source of the lingering frequencies.
Valerian Kincaid
"This person smells funny. Like- kinda like the grey hounds guy!"
Like Calcharo? Interesting. Slightly worrisome, but interesting.
They let Abby ramble about all of the potential "food" they'd find near the Threnodian for a moment, thinking to themself and zoning out a bit. The Court of Savantae... both in mainland Huanglong and on Mt. Firmament, the CSC ruins had been incredibly insightful to the inner workings of Solaris- sometimes in ways they doubted their past self had known.
"Alright. Let's go then. Maybe you'll find something tasty after all," They teased, causing the little Echo to twirl in excitement before disappearing back into their tacet mark.
-
The walk to the academy was quick and the breeze light and cool. They entered the building, unsure of exactly where to go or who "Head Researcher Jiahui" was.
Thankfully, they were able to spot a familiarly grumpy face. Mortefi was speaking with an unfamiliar researcher with vibrant blue hair. The dragon's expression was surprisingly soft as he listened to whatever his colleague was saying.
Rover smiled slightly to themself. It was cute seeing Mortefi so... smitten? They weren't sure if that was quite the right word, but there was something there. They almost didn't want to interrupt to ask their question.
Fortunately for them, the other researcher said their goodbyes, giving Rover a window.
"Long time no see, Mortefi. I'll try not to keep you long, but do you know where I'd find the Gilded Wastes expedition?" They asked, unable to suppress their slight amusement at how the redhead's gaze seemed to occasionally flick back to where the other researcher had went.
However, their question seemed to get his attention because his pupils dilated, "The Gilded Wastes expedition? Ha. Of course you're interested. They're down the hall-"
The dragon gestured to the room just a few feet away, "Do tell Jiahui I expect to see her both prior to and after the expedition. That woman bangs up her prosthetic enough without suicide expeditions."
They blinked at the clear worry and agitation in his tone, but nodded their head in promise. They gave Mortefi a quick wave goodbye, noting how he continued to grumble his worries as he stalked after the blue-haired researcher from earlier.
The door to their designated room was open, revealing a man with soft green hair and that familiar, but strange Spectro resonance about him. He was lounging on a couch, feet propped up and zoned out- like he was waiting for someone.
"Hello? This is the meeting place for the Gilded Wastes expedition...?" They asked, startling the poor man into awareness. They winced a bit, feeling bad. But they had questions.
Like why everyone seemed to perceive this mission as suicidal.
-
Yay! First post is done!
I think all of the details of why the "Gilded Wastes" or Alkhulud is geographically dangerous were discussed in this post
The Thorns is the area between Desorock Highlands and the Gilded Wastes.
If there are any other lore questions needed to be answered before your response, just shoot me an ask or message me! I tried to keep it vague while still giving details based on what we've all discussed outside of the actual Quest-line.
Valerian is up first with his response! I'll periodically respond as Rover to keep a nice, smooth transition and stay on plot.
Also, Quay mentions :3
As we progress, more OCs will appear! Let me know if you'd like to see any other OC cameos.

XIANGLI YAO'S CHERISHED ITEMS:
Xiangli Yao's ID Card
Tumblr media
Xiangli Yao's work ID card reads "Xiangli Yao, Researcher, Huaxu Academy," neatly printed. It took Xiangli Yao an extra year to wear this simple, plain card with a built-in ID chip on his chest compared to his peers at the Academy—a year ago, he had chosen not to take the Academy exam, instead leaving Jinzhou in search of answers to life's deeper questions. A teenager at the time, he stood at a crossroads, uncertain whether to follow in his parents' footsteps or forge his own path. However, a year later, his heart led him down a path entirely different from theirs... On his first day as a researcher, Xiangli Yao placed his ID card neatly on his desk, opened the window, and let the bustling sounds of Jinzhou City drift in. "Huaxu Academy. It's a nice place."
Beep-Boop
Tumblr media
This charming little robot, with its slightly yellowed surface, is both simple and compact. Give its tiny head a pat, and it will recite one of the classic Hero Play lines, accompanied by adorable pixel emojis displayed on its somewhat aged monitor. This was Xiangli Yao's first creation during his student days and served as the prototype for his later inventions, Xiang-Lee and Patty. Despite being Yao's initial attempt, the robot's design, materials, and programming beautifully showcase its creator's ingenuity. Affectionately named Beep-Boop, this lovable machine eventually found a home with one of Yao's lucky classmates. From that point on, Xiangli Yao devoted much of his free time to crafting models, robots, and other fascinating gadgets for his friends. Whether in school or now at the Academy, Yao's generosity in dedicating time and effort to those around him remains a constant. His selfless nature has always been, and continues to be, an integral part of who he is.
CSC Lock Puzzle
Tumblr media
A puzzle crafted from intricately interlocking joints, a testament to its ingenious design. It is said that such trinkets served as gifts from elder members of the Court of Savantae to their younger generations. Xiangli Yao can still recall the warmth of his father's rough fingertips as he handed him the puzzle on his birthday. Yet what truly captivated him were its complex arrangements and perplexing structures—such puzzles were what drew him into a world of intricate logic, leaving him spellbound for years to come. This was Xiangli Yao's first encounter with a puzzle, but certainly not his last.

Education and Certifications for Health and Fitness Professionals:
Tumblr media
In the competitive world of health and fitness, education and certifications are crucial in establishing credibility and ensuring clients receive the highest quality training. Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or looking to further your career, understanding the various certifications available and the importance of education can set you apart from the competition.
1. The Importance of Education in the Fitness Industry
A well-rounded education forms the foundation for a successful career in health and fitness. It provides you with an understanding of human anatomy, exercise physiology, nutrition, and client behavior—key components of effective training programs. Fitness professionals with formal education are better equipped to design safe and efficient workout plans tailored to individual needs. Without this knowledge, the risk of injury increases, and the effectiveness of training programs decreases.
2. Popular Certifications for Fitness Professionals
There are several respected certification bodies that provide valuable credentials for health and fitness professionals. Some of the most recognized certifications include:
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM): Known for its comprehensive approach to personal training, NASM offers certifications in personal training, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement.
American Council on Exercise (ACE): ACE offers certifications in personal training, group fitness, and health coaching, focusing on a holistic approach to fitness.
International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA): With a broad range of certification options, including personal training and nutrition, ISSA is a popular choice for professionals looking to specialize in specific areas.
These certifications provide in-depth knowledge, ensuring you can cater to clients' diverse needs, from weight loss to strength training and beyond.
3. The Role of Specialized Certifications
While general fitness certifications are essential, specialized certifications allow professionals to stand out in niche markets. Some specialized certifications include:
Yoga and Pilates Instructor: Certification in these fields offers training on flexibility, mobility, and mental well-being.
Sports Nutritionist: Understanding how nutrition affects athletic performance and overall health is essential for those interested in working with athletes or clients focused on performance.
Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS): This advanced certification is ideal for those wanting to work with athletes or clients with performance goals.
By pursuing specialized certifications, fitness professionals can expand their expertise and cater to clients with specific goals, ultimately increasing their earning potential.
4. Why Continuing Education Matters
The fitness industry is constantly evolving, with new research, trends, and training techniques emerging regularly. This makes continuing education essential for staying up to date. Attending workshops, seminars, and obtaining new certifications allows health and fitness professionals to stay on top of the latest developments and provide the best service to their clients. Additionally, continuing education is often required to maintain certifications and licenses.
5. How IfCA Supports Fitness Professionals
The Impact Fitness Coaching Academy (IfCA) offers a unique approach for those wanting to learn the business side of fitness coaching. Through their business coaching programs, IfCA provides education on not just how to be a better coach, but how to build and manage a thriving online fitness business. The academy's certification courses are designed to help professionals develop the skills needed to grow their coaching practices, increase their client base, and maximize their impact. Whether you're new to the industry or looking to level up your career, IfCA offers the tools and resources necessary for success.
6. Conclusion: A Lifelong Commitment to Growth
Education and certifications are not just a one-time investment; they are a lifelong commitment to growth and excellence. By obtaining the right certifications, staying current with continuing education, and considering programs like those offered by IfCA, health and fitness professionals can continuously improve their expertise and expand their career opportunities. Whether you're looking to specialize in a niche area or build a successful online fitness business, the path to success starts with a solid educational foundation.

How to Choose the Right Personal Trainer for Your Needs
Tumblr media
Choosing a personal trainer is a significant step in your fitness journey. Whether you’re looking to lose weight, build muscle, improve athletic performance, or simply develop a healthier lifestyle, the right personal trainer can make a world of difference. However, with so many options available, how do you find the right personal trainer for your specific needs?
Clarify Your Fitness Goals
Before choosing a personal trainer, it’s essential to define your fitness objectives. Having a clear goal ensures you find a trainer with the right expertise to guide your journey. Consider whether you want to:
Lose weight through structured workouts and nutrition guidance.
Build muscle with strength training and resistance exercises.
Improve endurance for better stamina and cardiovascular health.
Train for a sport or event with specialized techniques.
Recover from an injury with rehabilitation-focused training.
Enhance overall wellness through balanced fitness routines.
Different trainers excel in different areas, so knowing your specific needs helps you choose the best fit. A well-defined goal leads to a more effective and rewarding fitness experience.
Check Qualifications and Certifications
A good personal trainer should have the proper certifications to ensure they are knowledgeable and qualified to train clients safely and effectively. Look for certifications from reputable organizations such as:
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
American Council on Exercise (ACE)
International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA)
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Certifications indicate that the trainer has undergone professional training and adheres to industry standards.
Evaluate Experience and Specializations
Certifications are important, but a trainer’s experience and expertise can significantly impact your results. Assess their background, years in the industry, and specialized skills to ensure they align with your fitness needs.
Key Considerations:
Strength training - If muscle building is your goal, choose a trainer with experience in weightlifting and resistance training.
Injury recovery - For rehabilitation, seek a trainer knowledgeable in corrective exercises and injury prevention.
Sports performance - Athletes should look for trainers with sports-specific expertise to enhance agility, endurance, and technique.
A trainer’s specialization can significantly affect your ability to achieve your fitness goals, so ensure their experience matches your needs.
Consider Personality and Communication Style
Your trainer will be your fitness partner, so their personality and communication style matter. Some trainers are highly motivational and energetic, while others are more calm and supportive. Consider what type of coaching style works best for you:
Do you need a tough-love approach or a more encouraging mentor?
Do you prefer someone who pushes you to your limits or someone who focuses more on gradual progress?
Does their energy match your personality and motivation levels?
A good trainer should make you feel comfortable and confident while challenging you to reach your goals.
Evaluate Training Methods and Philosophy
Different trainers have different approaches to fitness. Some may focus on high-intensity workouts, while others prioritize functional training or mobility exercises. Ensure their methods align with your goals and preferences.
For instance:
If you enjoy strength training, a trainer who emphasizes weightlifting and resistance training is ideal.
If you prefer variety, find a trainer who incorporates different workout styles, such as HIIT, bodyweight exercises, and cardio.
If you have specific injuries or limitations, look for a trainer who specializes in corrective exercises and injury prevention.
Check Availability and Location
Choosing a personal trainer should fit seamlessly into your schedule and lifestyle. To maintain consistency, ask yourself:
Does their schedule align with yours? Ensure they’re available during your preferred workout times.
Where do they train? Consider if they work at a gym near you, offer home sessions, or provide virtual training.
Are they flexible? Some trainers may adjust their schedule to accommodate clients, while others have fixed availability.
A trainer who fits your schedule and location preferences will make it easier to stay committed and achieve your fitness goals.
Read Reviews and Ask for References
One of the best ways to gauge a trainer’s effectiveness is by checking reviews and testimonials from past clients. Look at:
Online reviews on Google, Yelp, or social media
Testimonials on their website
Word-of-mouth recommendations
Additionally, don’t hesitate to ask for references. Speaking directly with past or current clients can give you insight into their experience and results.
Consider the Cost
Personal training is an investment in your health, but it’s essential to find a trainer that fits within your budget. Prices vary based on experience, location, and session length. Ask about:
Their pricing per session
Package deals or discounts for multiple sessions
Payment plans or membership options
Remember, the most expensive trainer isn’t necessarily the best. Look for a balance between affordability and quality.
Request a Trial Session
Many trainers offer free or discounted trial sessions to let potential clients experience their training style before committing. Take advantage of this to assess:
Their coaching style and energy
Their ability to tailor workouts to your needs
How well you connect with them on a personal level
A trial session can help you determine if the trainer is a good fit for your personality and fitness goals.
Evaluate Progress Tracking and Accountability
A top-tier personal trainer does more than lead workouts—they ensure consistent progress and accountability. Consider how they:
Track progress - Do they use body measurements, strength assessments, or endurance tests?
Adapt workouts - Can they modify training plans based on your improvements and challenges?
Provide support - Do they offer motivation and guidance beyond sessions, such as nutrition advice or check-ins?
A trainer who actively monitors your progress and adjusts strategies accordingly will keep you motivated and on the path to success.
Choosing the right personal trainer in covington ga is a personal decision that requires careful consideration of your goals, preferences, and budget. A great trainer can be the difference between frustration and success, so take the time to find someone who truly understands and supports your journey. Investing in the right personal trainer means investing in your health, confidence, and overall well-being.

The material dimension of Clouds by Pluriversidad NĂłmada
Tumblr media
We are more than delighted to invite you to the launch of <<The material dimension of Clouds>> by Pluriversidad NĂłmada. The book is bilingual (English and Spanish) and will be presented in English by its editors LucĂa EgaĂąa Rojas and Ce Quimera. On the 30th of April, at 18:30 at the space of AMOQA (Manousogianni 6).
The material dimension of Clouds presents narratives around sciences, technologies, extractivism, the environmental crisis, the relationship to (misnomered) "natural resources", as well as those between bodies (both human and non-human), the living and supposed non-living. With this book we wish to approach the material dimension we inhabit, knowing this draws us closer to long-term memory, diverse speculations, and abandoning what is human as our analytical matrix, among other outcomes. Contemplating the volatile and aerial idea of what is often called "the cloud" connects us with the ground, with land, and also with what is stored at the bottom of the sea: thousands and thousands of kilometers of cables that transport information between devices and servers. We are caught up in a colonial and extractivist history that is not only about so-called "raw materials" or the internet, but also about deeper layers of meaning, of bodies, energies, spiritualities and knowledge that continue to sustain us. In this context we believe that the concept of "climate change" obscures deep historical implications, so we prefer to connect with a long-term memory of the Earth and that which inhabits it to address this current moment, weaving fragments into a partial and incomplete fabric that might give us clues on how to imagine the materiality we are part of.
Pluriversidad NĂłmada Pluriversidad NĂłmada was born from the desire to generate a loving space, one that serves as a context for practices and debates to take place around issues that confront us on a daily basis. This space seeks to question the umbrella concept of "art, science and technology", in order to densify its use by situating it materially in context. For Pluriversidad NĂłmada, these three words provide an excuse to devise other radical pedagogies capable of enabling pluriversal thought and action, disobeying the mandates of the academy and the pretended universality of modern Western knowledge. https://pluriversidadnomada.net/

There’s something incredibly satisfying about the idea of focusing a workout on one area of your body and tiring it out until you feel that sweet, sweet burn. Maybe that’s one reason why split workouts—where you focus on different areas of your body or muscle groups on different days—are so popular, especially in the age of the fitness influencer, says Laura Girard, CPT, a NASM-certified personal trainer and founder of the online fitness studio The Energy Academy. For one, it’s easier to make clickable content around “leg day,” for instance, than it is around a more balanced full-body workout, Girard says. And, “the fitness industry loves to glamorize suffering,” Girard says, and those split workouts often lead to more muscle soreness than full-body workouts with their more-concentrated efforts. But there are some major benefits to split workouts, too: There's more potential for hypertrophy and muscle growth and more time to spend thoroughly challenging each muscle group. But full-body workouts also come with their own slate of lifestyle and physiological perks, like efficiency. This begs the question: Which workout option is right for you? We dive into everything you need to know about full-body workouts versus split workouts so you can make the best decision for your fitness. Full-body workouts Benefits The best workout for you is the one you're actually going to do and that fits into your schedule. For many busy people, full-body workouts make more sense for efficiency’s sake. “Full-body workouts allow you to train multiple muscle groups in a single session, often using compound movements that engage several muscles simultaneously,” says Stephen Ranellone, CSCS, FRCms, FMS, an exercise physiologist at the Hospital for Special Surgery. “This can be very efficient, especially if you can only work out one or two times a week. These sessions can also increase caloric expenditure, which is beneficial for fat loss and improving conditioning.” Unlike in split workouts, where it’s usually necessary to rest between sets, full-body workouts allow you to switch to a new muscle group rather than taking a break, Girard points out—a win for both efficiency and for building endurance. Full-body workouts can also be more stimulating for your mind, according to Annie Ho, CPT, a certified personal trainer and exercise physiologist. They can be safer for people with orthopedic issues or injuries. “Whole-body movement promotes better movement mechanics and stability,” she says. There’s also the benefit of hitting all your major muscle groups multiple times a week, assuming you’re able to fit in more than one full-body workout (unlike in a split routine, when you may only hit each area once a week). The best workout for you is the one you're actually going to do and that fits into your schedule. Drawbacks Because full-body workouts challenge so many muscle groups, they often require some serious recovery, Ranellone says. He recommends taking 24 to 48 hours after a full-body session in order to avoid overtraining and fatigue. This also means that you can only do so many full-body sessions in a week (Ho recommends capping it at three, at least to start), unlike in a split routine where you can hit legs one day and upper body the next. Another limitation of full-body workouts: You won’t be able to achieve the same volume per muscle group as you would in a split routine, Ranellone says. Translation? It’ll be difficult to make hypertrophy gains, meaning if you have specific goals related to building muscle, full-body workouts probably won’t be enough for you. Split workouts Benefits If you’re looking to build strength and/or muscle and have the time to devote to it, a split routine might be for you. “One advantage of focusing on one muscle group per workout is that it allows for a higher volume of sets and reps, which is beneficial for hypertrophy and strength development,” Ranellone says. “You can spend more time targeting the muscle from different angles, enhancing your ability to challenge and stimulate it effectively.
” You can also recover more quickly from a split workout, considering it’ll only be one area of your body that’s tired. “Say you’re sore from leg day, the next day you could hit arms and shoulders,” Ho says. There’s also the downright satisfaction of that “leg day” feeling, Girard says. “For some people, knowing they're going to show up at the gym and it’s just legs, they’re going to feel that satisfaction factor, which is huge in adherence,” she says. “That’s going to have a huge motivational benefit.” “If you’re so sore that it’s getting in the way of life, what are you training for?” —Laura Girard, CPT Drawbacks Hitting all your muscle groups (back, arms, chest, core, legs, etc.) in a true split workout routine requires a number of sessions that just may not be reasonable for your schedule or your lifestyle. And though having sore hamstrings from leg day won’t necessarily stop you from doing arm day tomorrow, it’s possible that those hamstrings will be very, very sore due to the isolated work (so you’ll probably only be able to work them once a week or so). “If you're hitting your legs intensely enough to make progress, that may get in the way of your other daily activities,” Girard says. “If you go to the gym and then it hurts to sit down on the toilet for a week, it’s not going to be that appealing to show up again. If you’re so sore that it’s getting in the way of life, what are you training for?” Split workouts can also start to feel repetitive and perhaps even boring, with so much time doing the same exercises for the same muscles, Ho says. And, a poorly planned split routine can lead to muscle imbalances, with some groups being overworked and others neglected, she says. Full-body workout vs. split workout: the bottom line Ranellone recommends considering the amount of time you have, your experience level, and your goals when deciding whether full-body or split workouts are best for you. If you’re a beginner or only have time to work out one or two days a week, opt for full-body sessions. If you’re more experienced, have more time to work out, or are hoping to build muscle, split sessions might be a better fit. And remember: You don’t have to go all-or-nothing on one or the other. Mixing some full-body and some split sessions into your routine can give you access to the benefits of both, as long as you program in enough recovery. “Don’t overthink it,” Girard says. “It’s not that deep, and whatever sounds more appealing is going to be the thing you do, so start there. And then if it’s not working for you, don’t be afraid to change it up.”

Xiangli Yao + Court of Savantae (goofy speculation)
I wonder if he will be connected to the Court of Savantae in some way. It's even funnier that he uses the term truthseeker like they do a lot (could just be describing researchers in general)- and he's a genius. Speak to any of the Huaxu Academy NPCs or Mortefi, Baizhi, Taoqi, Jinhsi's profiles and they'll glaze him immediately. Court of Savantae really needed the study of Automata Mechanics at some point.
Tumblr media
Yao is incredibly smart, and the cube like structure in his lab is also at the old CSC site.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Either way I can't wait! His arm is so cool I love anything techy, or relations to robots, cyborgs, mechs in this game.

Beneath the Sands: Plot Overview and play guide
Hi Hi!
As I said, I wanted to make a plot post for the participating OCs so the plot flows smoothly and we don't all get lost. This is also to double check who's actively participating and who wants to, versus those who are just along for the ride. Feel free to reiterate what you'd like to do!
The current taglist and what they're here for are as follows:
@uncreative-cryptid ---> Valerian, takes odd jobs and a mineral specialist, escorting the Huaxu Academy research group
@hobbysognodilibri ---> Jiahui, a field specialist from Huaxu Academy, interested in the recently resurface Court of Savantae Ruins
@crypticrainbowmoss ---> Sobeknesef, a local Blacksmith and retired soldier, who winds up guiding the group
@yupuffin (Quay exists, but I wasn't sure if you wanted him to join this expedition, or spark a new Quest Line with Raziel, Demona, Asaro, and the Convent in Rinacita)
@captainsounddisaster ---> Here for the ride, been here since the beginning. I hope you enjoy reading!
@marmartheyarn ---> Also a reader! Hope you enjoy :3
I don't think I forgot anyone, but if this needs to be updated in anyway, just let me know!
Now that that has been established, the below will contain a loose overview of the plot, so if you're interested in reading and remaining spoiler free, stop here ;3
A "play guide" will also been included, and I will officially be setting up a masterlist for this Project with this post and the Prelude as the starting posts.
Plot overview (so we don't confuse each other too much!)
Act I: When Midday Dust Settles
The act opens with the Rover discovering a flier searching for bodyguards for a research group in Jinzhou. The payment is reasonable, but the expedition is far outside Huanglong, so it's attracted minimal attention, with only 1 name present on the contact sheet.
Valerian
Abby, who gets curious about Valerian's linger frequencies, pesters (affectionately) the Rover into checking out the job.
Enter Jiahui!!!!
The Rover chats with her for a bit and meets Valerian, agreeing to join them on the research expedition. (The last CSC ruins were pretty neat after all)
Mini little teleport skip
Its SAND
So much Sand
(Desert nation temporarily undecided unless someone else already has a name???)
The group decides to check out the local village
Chat with a few NPCs- they're very curt and standoffish
Wind up on the path to the ruins on their own
Ambush!
Sobeknesef!!!
cue "The fuck are you doing without a guide???"
Regrouping at the forge on the settlement outskirts
Sobeknesef warily agrees to be there guide
Act II: Ruined by Evening Light
Exploring the ruins!
Various paths and traps
Group gets split
More exploration, combat, and clues
Fractsidus are prowling around
Meet back up in a large room
Share clues
Fractsidus ambush
Someone bleeds on the wrong thing
Floor seal glows
Everyone falls in
CALADIN
babi
Everyone is extremely nauseous because weird time warp
Puzzle time
Caladin is clearly frozen in time
Those sensitive to frequencies + Abby can tell he's still alive
Occasional Fractsidus and Tacet Discord ambush
Puzzle solved!
the nausea goes away!
Entire party is *magically* healed of their injuries
A floating Caladin drops to the ground and the Spectro that had been burning in his hands for almost 100,000 years finally burns out
(His poor hands are probably super dry and cracked)
Introductions but only briefly
Boss Fight!!!!!!
Act III: Dusk steals Life from the Dunes
Frantic escape from the collapsing ruins
Make it out
Here screeches from behind the party
Fractsidus!
More Fractsidus
The Founders make their first appearance!
Fighting, Negotiation, much irritation, and grief
The Boss is back from earlier
Abby saves the day
It's rock licking adjacent, but does the job
Act IV: Dawning of a New Day
Regrouping at the Forge
Caladin is very awkward
Deciding what to do or where he should go
Lending some insight on the Founders and offering aid
Party conversations
We cut to The Founders and their discussions
Ends with quiet morning and tea of choice
Okey dokey!!!
I hope this doesn't feel too restrictive?? I really wanted to give the participating writers some boning for the story so we didn't all flounder about!
I'll happily take other ideas and scenes as well.
Running out words, so pt. 2 will include play guide on how to make this more free form for everyone and more open for interpretation!
